Abby Dunn has more than twenty years of communications experience handling media and public relations for such notable clients as Chanel, Burberry, AnnTaylor, LOFT, Equinox, Mario Tricoci Hair Salons and Day Spas, and more. She also continues to work with luxury fashion brands including Dylan’s Candy Bar, Emporio Armani and more for store openings and retail events.

She was previously Vice President at Blast Marketing & PR where she directed 20+ accounts mostly focused around celebrated Chicago restaurants including Gibson’s, Chicago Cut Steakhouse and more. Prior to Blast, she was Fashion Director for online retailer Active Endeavors. She brought the company into the retail limelight with frequent features in Us Weekly, Lucky, Glamour, InTouch, and more, and secured such coveted designers as Helmut Lang, Tory Burch, Loeffler Randall and others to the collection of women’s ready-to-wear.

Her career began in New York City at Condé Nast Publications where she did publicity for Allure magazine. Abby produced notable segments with Editor in Chief Linda Wells for The Today Show, Good Morning America, E! Entertainment Network, and more. She then moved to PR Consulting Firm where she represented high fashion clients, Balenciaga and Narciso Rodriguez, as they were breaking ground and appearing on the cover of Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and more.

In 2012, Abby ventured on her own with Abby Dunn PR & Consulting where her areas of expertise include media saturation in the Chicago market and national exposure for Chicago-based brands. Because of her notable clients and reputation, Abby maintains strong relationships with myriad Chicago outlets including Chicago Tribune, CS, and Chicago magazines, as well as Chicago television networks, and with national publications including the Wall StreetJournal, Vogue, Town & Country, Marie Claire, Travel & Leisure, and more.

A graduate of Boston College, Abby lives in Wilmette, IL with her husband, two daughters, Piper and Scout, and son Teddy. She has served on the Women’s Board of Rush University Medical Center and Chicago Botanic Garden Guild Board and is an active member of the Founder’s Board of Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.
